Oliver Lane is at the Heart of Maple Community. The Community of Maple runs from Jane and Highway 400 on the west to Rutherford Road in the south, the Go Railway Barrier line on the east, and Teston Road on the north. Bounding highway 400 and having two GO stations, Maple offers its residents convenient transportation to transit to downtown Toronto. The West part of the Community is newer, with many houses built after 2000. In past 3 months, 55 Detached homes were sold at average of $1.5M. Italian represents the largest demographic group in this Community, over 30%. Rutherford Go station near Rutherford and Westburne Drive and Maple station close to Major Mackenzie and McNaughton road allow residents to journey directly to downtown Toronto in about 30 minutes. Residents can also have indoor sports in Maple Community Centre, which possesses a fitness centre, swimming pool, and bowling alley. Maple residents are so blessed that Vaughan Mills Mall, one of the largest outlet malls in Canada, is just at the west gate of the Community.
